For a month each summer, the City of Paris turns a long stretch on the right bank of the Seine into a summer playground for children of all ages. On hot days, two brumisateurs (mist makers), one hanging from the old wall of the Quai des Célestins near the Pont Marie and the other erected near the Pont Neuf, offer not only an opportunity to cool off but an invitation to joyous play.
