Pictures of the Rue des Bluets and its environs. This long-established, multicultural neighborhood is where we like to stay when we are in Paris. The gallery is best viewed in the Journal mode.

The Rue des Bluets is a short, one-way street in the 11th arrondissement that runs between the Avenue de la République and the Boulevard de Ménilmontant.
There are two apartments available for rent -- one facing the street (the three tall windows on the left) and one with an outdoor patio that faces away from the street. The area is quiet at night except on weekends when there can be some spill over from the nightlife on the nearby, very trendy Rue Oberkampf. Well-insulated windowns insure that we never have a problem sleeping.
