The nearby Saint Maur métro stop is on the number 3 line. There is an unattended entrance at the intersection of the Rue des Bluets and the Avenue de la République. Take ithe subway in the direction of Pont de Levallois, change at Réaumur-Sebastapol and you can be on the Ile de la Cité or the left bank in 20 minutes. One word of caution, though. If you need to buy a ticket you will want to enter the métro at the main entrance across the street and down a block to the right.
